THE NATIONAL MEMORIAL ARBORETUM is the UK's year-round centre of Remembrance; a spiritually uplifting place which honours the fallen, recognises service and sacrifice, and fosters pride in our country. It is a living and lasting memorial. It’s not a cemetery. It’s a place of life, represented by the 30,000 trees planted, where older and younger generations alike can wander and wonder. The trees and the more than 300 dedicated memorials on the site make the Arboretum a living tribute that will forever acknowledge the personal sacrifices made by the Armed Forces and civil services of this country.There is a miniature train which runs round the grounds enabling easy viewing for those who struggle with mobility.

These services are open to local elderly and/or disabled residents and to visitors to the area. Our vehicles are fully accessible, have up to 16 seats and are able to accommodate wheelchair passengers.
