Volunteering with us…………….

All our services are completely reliant on volunteers and we are always very pleased to hear from anyone who would like to join our friendly team as:

  • Minibus Drivers – Full training is provided, category D1 on driving licence (or a willingness to obtain this) is all that is required.

  • Passenger Assistants – A caring and supportive attitude and an awareness of the needs of others is desirable, full training is provided.

  • Car Scheme Drivers – using your own vehicle to provide individual, tailor made journeys to healthcare appointments, many of which are local.

  • Book End Assistants – located in Bakewell, our second hand bookshop is open 7 days a week – ideal if you enjoy books and meeting people.

  • Fundraisers – Inspiration for raising money and awareness of our charity are always welcomed.
